Hello June, Once upon a time I saw the name of Gretna Green on an old map of Sumner County. I don't recall exactly where it was but will try to find out for you. Do you recall the names of the people receiving mail at the Gretna Green Post Office? There was a community north of Castalian Springs and southwest of Bethpage named Greenwood. I am wondering if that was the same community. Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. God Bless America! Do you have any idea where this place was located? I understand people went to Gretna Green at times to elope. Any help appreciated! June Fore
