HI, My folks William Herschel and Mable Roberta Elrod Conley lived in Clarksville TN. They were married in 1935. their 3 rd child was Carl Dean Conley b. Dec.24,1940 and died Jan. 24, 1941. He had been "sickly". I did find a newspaper artical about his death but it didn't say what funeral home was taking care of him or where he was buried. My brother Willie thinks Carl was buried at Blackbottom cemetery. I believe it is now Riverview. I understand that the "old fella" who was the caretaker past away quiet a while ago, taking many unwritten grave sites with him. Carl did not have a head stone. I hope to put a stone on my brothers grave if possible My parents moved to Michigan where I was born in 1945. My parents also bought some land near First Street in the 50's.
