Good morning BJ, Yes, there is a record in the "Stewart County Marriage Record Book 4, 1838 - 1848" book about a marriage between Mr. SUMMERS and Miss OUTLAW. There isn't a lot of information about this marriage, only the date the marriage license was issued is shown. ~~~~~~~~~~ James F. SUMMERS married Tennessee P. OUTLAW. The marriage license was issued on July 3, 1847. The license was never returned as Solemnized and the name of the person performing the ceremony is not recorded. ~~~~~~~~~~ I have seen incomplete records such as this numerous times. It seems that often, the person conducting the ceremony just neglected to return the license to the courthouse and the record was never completely recorded.
