    2. Good morning BJ. I have records of some of my family in a Methodist Church in the last half of the 1800's in Indian Mound, Tennessee, which is in Stewart County. I don't know how old that particular church is, though. It isn't possible that your family member was married in Houston County in the 1830's, though. Houston County wasn't formed until 1871. If you would like, I'll research the Methodist Churches in Stewart County and find when they were formed. It may take a little time to get an answer to you, though.
