Stan: Thanks for the look up. I am surprised that none of the Grants at least are listed in the book. Samuel, married Elizabeth Bowling circa 1822, had seven children, among them were Martha, Emmaline, Samuel, Henry, Eliza M. , Virginia Tennessee, and Charlotte. They were all born between 1824 and 1843. The others I am not so sure of. There is a Grant cemetery in Montgomery Co. about two miles west (I think) of Tiny Town, Ky. A bunch of Grants are buried there. Maybe the dates are not consistent with the book. My husband's grandmother, a Powell, was born just across the line in Tennessee, from Guthrie, Todd Co.
