Hello everyone, Often, when researching in the archives or a library somewhere, people ask what the county seat of a particular county is, or I overhear them talking to themselves wondering the same thing. I know the seats of all the 26 counties covered by ROOTWALKER, but most people don't because they don't deal with all those counties each day, but can't recite all 96 counties or their county seats. So, to help some of you out whenever your research takes you from one county to another, here is a list of all the counties in Tennessee. I am going to put the ROOTWALKER counties at the head of the list because we are sort of partial to them. The county name is first, and the county seat follows. You might want to save this list, just in case...
