Will see if I can find anything about Joseph and Samuel Carter I, too, have noticed that some have the Tudor/Tudar name as Tedder. It could be that some census taker spelled the name as Tedder or someone thought that was what the census wrote down. I believe King Henry the Eight of England was a Tudor.
