Hello Melody, In looking up the name HENSLEY in Hickman County, I found the following things: 1. J. D, HENSLEY was a Confederate soldier that enlisted from Hickman County, TN. Apparently, he survived the War of Yankee Aggression. He enlisted in the 24th Tennessee Infantry. He and other Hickman County men made up two companies of the 24th, which was organized at Camp Anderson, three miles south of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on August 6th, 1861. 2. E. B. HENSLEY is shown on the Death Roll of Co. H., 3rd. Tennessee Infantry. I find no other reference to him. 3. Dr. L. G. HENSLEY is listed " Among the physicians who have practiced their profession in this district." 4. There are 23 HENSLEY family members shown in "Hickman County, Tennessee, Cemetery Records," Part 2, Fourth Printing, 1992, by the Captain Thomas Stewart Easley Chapter 1814, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Centerville, Tennessee. None of the HENSLEY people you mentioned are shown in this book. They may be shown in Volume 1, but it is out of print and I don't yet have a copy. I hope this bit of information is useful to you.
