Good morning Teri, Falling Water River is a small river that runs through Putnam, White and DeKalb Counties of Tennessee. It begins near Monterey, Tennessee, then flows in a west-southwestern direction south of Cookeville, Tennessee, then into Center Hill Lake of the opposite side of the lake from Smithville. The Falling Water River flows into Center Hill Lake almost directly northeast of Smithville, and as I said before, across the lake from Smithville. >From a point due south of Cookeville, the Falling Water River runs almost directly on the county line between Putnam and White Counties until just before it pours into the lake.
