Good morning everyone, The longest genealogical link in history was determined in Cheddar, England, in 1997. A 9000 year old skeleton was found in a cave in Cheddar, England. A DNA sample was taken from this skeleton and nearby residents were tested to see if there was any link. A gentleman that lives only 1/2 mile from the site where the skeleton was found has been verified to be a kinsman.
