Hi Virginia - I don't know how much I can help you on Epps Jackson, but I do have a little. His first wife and the mother of all (as far as I know) was named Elizabeth. At the moment I don't know her maiden name. I will check other records to see if I have more on this. One son of Epps and Elizabeth Jackson was William (Bill) Jackson. He was born June 13, 1825 and died April 8, 1913. He married Ann Henry Rogers. She was a daughter of William Rogers and his wife, Elizabeth Teas of Humphreys County. I descend from Elizabeth Teas' brother, James Craig Teas. They were children of James Teas and his wife, Anna Gilmore, both originally from Dickson County. Ann Rogers Jackson is buried in the Hobbs cemetery near the forks of Duck and Buffalo rivers near where they lived in Humphreys County. After her death, Bill Jackson moved back to Dickson County and is buried in the Jackson (I guess that is the name) cemetery in Montgomery Bell State Park. As far as I know, Bill and Ann Jackson had only one child, Mary Elizabeth Jackson who married John Wiley Legate. A descendant of this marriage lives in Texas and has done quite a bit of research. I will look through my notes to see what else I have on Epps Jackson and. if you are interested, I will put you in contact with "our" cousin in Texas.
