Hello everyone, I know there is at least one DEMONBREUN researcher in the ROOTWALKER family. There are probably several more people that can tie their lineage into this surname somewhere in time. For those of you that are researching this old and respected name as well as those of you that are interested in history and colorful people I thought I would mention an article that appeared in the Nashville Tennessean newspaper on Wednesday, August 7, 2002. This article is titled "Pioneer's home a historic hideaway" and is about Timothy Demonbreun and Demonbreun's Cave, which opens into a bluff overlooking the Cumberland River just a short distance by water from downtown Nashville.
