    1. [ROOTWALKER] FREY surnames in "Red River Settlers."

Good morning Joe, I don't find any specific dates for entries in the "Red River Settlers" book, but the majority of them are before the civil war, with very few names mentioned after that time, and then as descendants of the original settlers, usually. I think the earliest date I have seen mentioned in the book is 1788, when the General Assembly of North Carolina laid off the three new counties of Davidson, Sumner, and Tennessee.
