    3. Stan, Thanks for the information on Polly Lawrence. Although, I have nothing on her, I would like to have the rest of the information. My gg grandfather James Lawrence was supposedly born in Va. around 1810 but I have never gotten proof of that he married Matilda Law of Macon Co., Tn. and they had 5 children - Samuel Patrick born in 1835, Susan Matilda born in 1839, Mary Frances born in 1842 in Missouri, John Lewis born in 1844 in Marion Co. Illinois (my gg grandfather) and James Wesley born in 1847. I have found quite a few Lawrences in Monroe Co.,Ky. and feel that my ancesters migrated from Missouri to Monroe Co.Ky. But they must have started from somewhere in Tennessee. I printed a map from Ancestry.Com which shows the migration route from Monroe Co., Ky. to Missouri and Texas which goes up through Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. This is why I think they must have taken this route for the children to have been born in different states. Therefore, I may in the future be able to tie Polly into my family. My g grandfather once lived in Sumner and Trousdale counties prior to moving to Macon Co. Tn. and Allen Co., Ky. Thank you for you patience.
