    1. [ROOTWALKER] Re: TN-ROOTWALKER-D Digest V01 #27
    2. Hi, I am wondering if there is any mention in the "Red River Settlers" of either Wm. Edwards, Vachel Lovelace, Elizabeth Lovelace or Larkin Edwards. I would be most grateful if you have the time and don't mind checking for me. I know around the end of the 1700's and early 1800's they lived in Robertson Co, TN. Larkin is the son of Wm. Edwards and Elizabeth is the daughter of Vachel Lovelace. I am a direct descendent of Larkin and Elizabeth and have been looking for years for a record of their marriage. My ancestor, Emily Jane Edwards was born in 1808 in TN, I do not believe she was the oldest child in the family. Larkin and Elizabeth separated (or divorced in 1815) and Elizabeth died in 1820. Larkin went to Arkansas and eventually to N. Louisiana as an Indian Interpreter for the Caddo Indians. This has been an extremely large brick wall that I keep hitting. Thanks for your help. Dot P.
