We searched in the 1973 "Robertson County Cemetery Records, Vol. 1", the 1975 "Robertson County Cemetery Records, Vol. 2", the 1975 "Robertson County Cemetery Records Vol. 3", and 1987 "Robertson County Cemetery Records" by Jean M. Durrett, Diane Williams, & Yolanda Reid, as well as the 1999 book "Robertson County, Tennessee Obituaries & Death Records 1802-1930, and did not find any reference to William Clayton BRIDGES. We did not find William in the 1840 census of Tennessee. We did, however, find William in the following places: 1. 1850 Census-Tennessee, Vol. 1, transcribed by Byron and Barbara Sistler in 1974, second edition of 1991.
