Hi Betty, How in the world are you today? I find only one reference to the WEBSTER name in the book, "Red River Settlers." It does not give a first name, and only makes reference to WEBSTER people buried in the Gideon Cemetery 12 miles out of Springfield, Tenn., in Robertson County. The surname GRUBBS is also listed, but once again, only in mentioning the surname in the Gideon Cemetery. There is no reference to the WALDEN family. There is a Gideon Methodist Church cemetery near Ridgetop/Greenbriar Tenn. in Robertson County. We have a listing of the graves in that cemetery. In the transcription of that cemetery, I find the surname GRUBBS with M. H. GRUBBS. b. 12-08-1854 d. 01-04-1934 and L. H. GRUBBS b. 01-12-1864 d. 12-01-1928. There are a few other GRUBBS graves in that cemetery. I hope this helps you a little bit. Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. Sincerely, Stan Magnesen ROOTWALKER site/list coordinator ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Subj: [ROOTWALKER] Red River Settlers Date: 2/19/01 11:03:11 AM Pacific Standard Time From: Mbkngu@aol.com Reply-to: TN-ROOTWALKER-L@rootsweb.com To: TN-ROOTWALKER-L@rootsweb.com Stan: Have been reading some of the replies in re to Red River Settlers and would like to request a look-up too. My gggrandfather was Abraham Webster and he married Margaret Tabytha True. Many looking for info on Abraham Webster can go no further on him than he was born in 1792 in PA. Also any mention of Franklin Lafayette Grubbs married to Matilda Webster. Also any mention of Fielden DeWitt Walden married to Susan Grubbs. It seems my ancestors went back and forth between Greenbrier, Robertson County, TN and Logan County KY. One of Abraham and Margaret Webster's sons, L. N. Webster was in charge of Red River Mills, Logan County, KY. In 1883 he left and moved to Greenbrier. Thanking you in advance for a look-up, Betty Woodside Kelley
