Hello Leslie, There is a search engine on the obituaries page of the Tennessean that will help you find an obituary that they have listed in the past. Go to the main page for the Tennessean at: www.tennessean.com then click on obituaries. At the bottom of the next page you will find the search engine. It only searches the years 2000 and 2001, so if the obit you need is older than that, you may have to resort to the old Pony Express. Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. Sincerely, Stan Magnesen ROOTWALKER site/list coordinator ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In a message dated 2/18/01 7:36:10 AM Pacific Standard Time, Aug67@att.net writes: > Subj: [ROOTWALKER] A Question About the Obits > Date: 2/18/01 7:36:10 AM Pacific Standard Time > From: Aug67@att.net (~~Leslie~~) > Reply-to: TN-ROOTWALKER-L@rootsweb.com > To: TN-ROOTWALKER-L@rootsweb.com > > > When we post the names of people listed in the obituaries of the > Tennessean, > > we encourage people to go to the Tennessean web site and copy-and-paste . . > . > --------------- > Thanks, Stan.
