Good morning Norm, There are two references to the surname CLENDENNING in the "Red River Settlers" book. In the first reference, Robert Clendenning is shown as one of the first 100 families living within the town of Russellville, Ky. Robert voted in the election to elect trustees for the town of Russellville in 1807. In the second reference, only the title of a book used for reference is shown. The book is titled "Clendenning and Related Families." No other information is given about the book. We hope this information is found to be useful for you. Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. Sincerely, Stan Magnesen ROOTWALKER site/list coordinator ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In a message dated 2/20/01 8:30:38 PM Pacific Standard Time, 1ncc@gte.net writes: > Subj: Red River Settlers- Clendenin > Date: 2/20/01 8:30:38 PM Pacific Standard Time > From: 1ncc@gte.net (Norm Clendenin) > Reply-to: 1ncc@gte.net (Norm Clendenin) > To: Yelowstone@aol.com > > Stan, > I would appreciate a look-up in your book. > Are there any Clendenin namesakes of various spellings. > Norm Clendenin > >
