    1. [ROOTWALKER] MC FALL and POWERS family in "Red River Settlers."
    2. Hi Carolyn, I am sorry, but there are no McFall people listed in the book, "Red River Settlers." There are, however three POWER family members listed. These have no letter "S" on the end of the name. They are S. D. POWER, S. D. POWER, Jr., and Samuel D. POWER (I think this is S. D. POWER). With the surname POWERS (with the letter "S") there is a Samuel A. POWERS with his wife, Martha A. POWERS. I believe these people lived in the part of Montgomery County that later became part of Cheatham County. There is not really a lot of information about these people, but they were closely associated with the GUPTON family. I hope this helps you, even if only a little bit.
