Howdy again Rene', In the book, "Red River Settlers," there is mention of a deed in Wilson County, Tenn., of July 24, 1829, Proved in court in Sept. 1830, among other people, William Seay and John Seay, Sr. were confirmed as trustees of four acres of land on which Abner Springs Methodist Church was built. The location was on the west side of Dry Fork of Round Lick Creek in the first district of Wilson County. Elisha Rainey was shown only once when referred to in a list of commissioned officers of Montgomery County, Tenn. Elisha was an Ensign in the 24th Regiment, dated November 14, 1810.
