    1. [ROOTWALKER] What is the "Red River Settlers" book?
    2. Hi Jeanne! You are right, "Red River Settlers" is a tiny book, compared to most. I have always heard that big things come in small packages, and if this book is any indication, that old saying must have some basis in truth. In all, the book is only 146 pages, not counting the index, table of contents, and introduction, and the pages are only 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 inches. I met a lady a few weeks ago that knew the author of this book, Mrs. Edythe Rucker Whitley. Mrs. Whitley was said to be a delightful lady that found a great deal of joy in helping other people. We need more like her. Thanks, Jeanne, for being part of the ROOTWALKER family.
