Hi folks. I'm new to this list so bear with me as I trudge along. Have several lines of research in gool ol' TN, so might have to make a few postings. To begin, I'm searching for all links to the Grisham/Grissom & Richmond families in early Sumner County, TN (1790 - mid 1800's) Benjamin Grisham/Grissom married Elizabeth (Betsy) Richmond in 1812. Think I have most of their children, Thomas, Catherine, Sarah, William, George, James and John. Could be more. What I don't have are the parents of Benjamin Grisham or Elizabeth Richmond, or any of their siblings. A William Grisham has property on Drakes Creek before Benjamin, so this guy is probably his father or maybe an older sibling. George Richmond was the bondsman for Benjamin and Elizabeth's marriage. Assume he is related to Elizabeth, but not sure how. I have a lot of information to share, but just as many holes. Would love to hear from anyone researching this line. Thanks for your time.
