>I have a Gill in Smith Co., Tennessee. Any connection? Jeanne Montana< Jeanne, My Gills are a collateral line to my Moore family and have always been referred to as "cousin", but I am uncertain of their exact connection. I do know that 1) many of them are buried with my Great Grandparents in the Neal-Moore cemetery in Smith County, 2) they are connected by marriage to Tuggles and Bradfords who are also related by marriage to my Moore line. I have a small file on John Tuggle b 1756 of VA who came to TN by way of NC (where his second wife was a Bradford and most if not all of their children were born). John Tuggle's daughter Elizabeth married John Gill and they lived in Smith County, just up the road from my Great Grandparents. Karen
