Well, I'm going to try again to get help with my brickwall on our ancester. I've been searching for the marriage and death dates on SMITH B (BARLOW) GOAD and ANNABELL HEAD. In the Monroe Co Ky census it stated that they had been married for 13 years. so that would put the marriage about 1887 (first child borned 1887). both were from Jackson and Clay Co Tn. ANNABELLE was on the 1910 Clay Co census and 1920 Clay Co census showed SMITH as a widow. NOW, I have found 2 of his children births recorded as GOAD but on Tn Archives deaths it has their name as GOOD. I also found on Ancestry .com census for 1920 index SMITH was listed as GOOD but on the actual census it is listed as GOAD. So maybe their marriage or deahs were written down as GOOD. I hope someone in the counties that ROOTWALKER covers will check their marriage or death information for me. I will be so deeply appreciated as I been searching for this since 1997. I know a researcher, who is excellent, out in Utah that does marriage records in TN. I have used him extensively but he does cost $$$$$$. If you are interested you can get ahold of me and I will pass on his name and email address. As I said he is good and has been very honest with me!! I send him a money order everytime so there will be no question on a personal check. My packets have always arrived with exactly the information promised.
