Hello, I, also, just joined the list. My GGG grandparents were Robert William WILSON and Celina A. ROBINSON, reportedly born in NC in late 1790's or early 1800. According to family records, their son, Allen Green WILSON, was born in Smith County, TN in 1819;. I have found no records for them in Smith County. Allen Green Wilson married Elizabeth M. ASKINS, daughter of Presley ASKINS and Mary FINCH ASKINS, who lived in Smith County. I have not found any marriage records but assume that they married sometime around 1840-42.
