    1. Re: [ROOTWALKER] SUMMERS - JAMES - OUTLAW - marriage look up please
    2. Brenda London
    3. Thank you very much. I'm wondering if James Summers that married Louisa James is the same man that married Tennessee P. Outlaw?? Actually I am courious about all of it. James F. Summers was my gg grandfather. I am trying to determine his where abouts before 1847, which is the first record I have of him. There are 3 surnames here and 3 marriages, normally there should be 6 surnames. It all just seems odd. Also if you have anything on his father Greenberry Summers, born 1797 NC, might be helpful. James F. Summers was born 1818 NC. Thanks bj ----- Original Message ----- From: <Yelowstone@aol.com> To: <TN-ROOTWALKER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, March 24, 2003 3:53 AM Subject: [ROOTWALKER] SUMMERS - JAMES - OUTLAW - marriage look up please > Good morning BJ, > > The following information came from the "Stewart County, Tennessee, Marriage > Records, Vol. 4, 1838 - 1848" book. > > ***** > > James SUMMERS and Louise JAMES got a marriage license on (Sept.) 21, 1839. > It was solemnized on Sept. 22, 1839. 1. [ROOTWALKER] SUMMERS - JAMES - OUTLAW - marriage look up please
    2. Good morning BJ, The following information came from the "Stewart County, Tennessee, Marriage Records, Vol. 4, 1838 - 1848" book. ***** James SUMMERS and Louise JAMES got a marriage license on (Sept.) 21, 1839.  It was solemnized on Sept. 22, 1839.  This marriage ceremony was conducted by Mr. William MILLER, J. P.  No other information is given about this marriage. James F. SUMMERS and Tennessee P. OUTLAW got a marriage license on July 3, 1847.  Their license was never recorded as having been returned to the courthouse so no other information is given. John E. OUTLAW and Louisa JAMES received a marriage license on November 24, 1842.  Their marriage was solemnized on the same day.  The marriage ceremony was performed by Mr. J. E. WYNNS, J. P.  No other information is included in this book about this marriage. You are wondering if this is the same Louisa JAMES that married James SUMMERS.  I think if this is the same lady she would have had to have gotten a divorce to be using her maiden name as the marriage with Mr. SUMMERS was solemnized.  Consequently, I think there should be a divorce record somewhere showing the end of their marriage, if this is the same lady. Would you like us to place this question in our Archives Folder to research in the future? Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. God Bless America! I was a bit disappointed to discover that no information was found in this book about them as I am descended from the HODGES family, also. Is there anyone else you will allow me to look up in this book for you? Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. "Support our U. S. Troops and Allies!" 1. [ROOTWALKER] COAKLEY, AVERITT "Assorted Montgomery County Records" LOOKUPS!
    2. Good morning Jeanne, There are several references to members of the AVERITT family in the "Assorted Montgomery County Records" book. They are; AVERITT, Elizabeth Ann AVERITT, Frank L. AVERITT, Henry W. AVERITT, Peter J. AVERITT, Sam H. AVERITT, Sarah D. If any of these individuals are of interest to you, please give me their names, three per email, and I'll gladly give you what information is found in this book about them. Three members of the COAKLEY family are mentioned in this book. They are; COAKLEY, Catherine COAKLEY, Martha Ann COAKLEY, Thomas G. If any of these people are of interest, please let me know. All of these COAKLEY family members are referred to in an old transcription of the DAVIDSON Cemetery so you may already have this information about them. I'll be happy to send it if you don't have it or aren't sure. Is there anyone else I can look for in this book for you? Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. God Bless America!
