1. [ROOTWALKER] ROOTWALKER Digest.
2. Good morning everyone, As you already know sometimes the ROOTWALKER mail list gets a little busy. If you are one of those people that have an Internet Service Provider that limits your email volume or you don't have the time to read each email as it comes to you, ROOTWALKER has a Digest Mode available. In the list mode you receive each email as it is posted immediately after it is sent. We don't moderate the ROOTWALKER list, so that mail comes to you as quickly as Rootsweb electrons can get it to you. In the Digest Mode you would receive a collection of mails sent over a period of time. This usually comes out one or two times per day. In this mode you receive all the mails sent to the ROOTWALKER family in a magazine form rather than as individual mails. This cuts down on your mail volume considerably. Most people prefer the List Mode and enjoy reading each mail as it is received. Some people receive both List and Digest mail. The choice is yours. To subscribe to the ROOTWALKER mail list in the Digest Mode send an email to the following address: [email protected] In that email put the word SUBSCRIBE in the body of the mail and in the subject line. The computer will recognize this single word as a command and automatically subscribe you in the Digest Mode. Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. "Long May It Wave!" Ancestry.com has made available to you at no cost a map of the eastern U. S. showing the early American Indian tribal regions and languages. After looking at this map, I believe it to show the regions after the contact with Europeans, though the map does not indicate the years these tribes were supposed to occupy the areas shown. You can see this map at the following address: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/map.asp?ImageID=705 Ancestry.com - Maps On this map and other Ancestry.com maps, you can usually enlarge an area by pointing at it and clicking your mouse.
