    1. [ROOTWALKER] Parker-Woodmore in Trousdale or Macon Co.
    2. Have been researching the Dempsey PARKER Family for years. They lived in Sumner, Smith, Macon, and Trousdale Cos., TN from 1820 to the early 1900's. One of Dempsey's sons, Daniel was born 1842 and died 1909. One of Daniel's daughters, Alley PARKER, was born around 1880 and married T. E. WOODMORE. I am trying to track down any of Alley's and T.E.'s children hopefully around Hartsville, Trousdale Co., TN. I have proof Alley lived in Hartsville in 1947. Any help would be appreciated. 3. Hi Nancy, My GG-grandparents were Spencer W. TALLEY and Araminta EDDINGS. Their children (that I know about) were Elizabeth, William and Gideon. I'm trying to find their family (parents, siblings, relatives, descendants), graves, vital statistics. However, Spencer W. TALLEY wasn't from Marshall County. He lived in Wilson County. But the name TALLEY caught my attention. Bill Allen <[email protected]>

    1. [ROOTWALKER] GRISHAM/GRISSOM & RICHMOND, SUMNER COUNTY
    2. Hi folks. I'm new to this list so bear with me as I trudge along. Have several lines of research in gool ol' TN, so might have to make a few postings. To begin, I'm searching for all links to the Grisham/Grissom & Richmond families in early Sumner County, TN (1790 - mid 1800's) Benjamin Grisham/Grissom married Elizabeth (Betsy) Richmond in 1812. Think I have most of their children, Thomas, Catherine, Sarah, William, George, James and John. Could be more. What I don't have are the parents of Benjamin Grisham or Elizabeth Richmond, or any of their siblings. A William Grisham has property on Drakes Creek before Benjamin, so this guy is probably his father or maybe an older sibling. George Richmond was the bondsman for Benjamin and Elizabeth's marriage. Assume he is related to Elizabeth, but not sure how. I have a lot of information to share, but just as many holes. Would love to hear from anyone researching this line. Thanks for your time.
