Good morning Shirley, There are two members of the LAWRENCE family mentioned in the "Smith County, Tennessee, Marriages, 1845 - 1854" book. This book has an index for the males only, so the ladies won't show up in the index. I plan to reindex this book to show the ladies and then offer it for lookups again in the future. Here is the information about the LAWRENCE men: ~~~~~~~~~~ LAWRENCE, William, William LAWRENCE married Miss Frances M. TURNER. They applied for their marriage license on September 4, 1848, and their marriage was solemnized on September 7, 1848, by Elder James BARRY. LAWRENCE, James H. James H. LAWRENCE married Miss Delila SANDLIN. They applied for their marriage license on August 10, 1852, and their marriage was solemnized on August 12, 1852, by J. DEDMAN, J. P. ~~~~~~~~~~~ There aren't any other variations of the LAWRENCE surname shown in this book by the male names. We hope this information is new and helpful and that these two gentlemen are of your family. Is there anyone else I can look for in this book for you? Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. Good morning, I'm sorry, but we don't have any information about people from Campbell County, Tennessee. The ROOTWALKER project covers the 26 counties of northern middle Tennessee and Campbell County is just a little bit east of the ROOTWALKER region. With the closeness of CAMPBELL County to the ROOTWALKER region, it is very possible that some of your family migrated westward into the ROOTWALKER region. If you are wondering which counties are included in the ROOTWALKER region you can find a map of Tennessee with the ROOTWALKER counties highlighted in yellow on the ROOTWALKER website. Go to the following address: www.rootwalker.com www.rootwalker.com When you arrive at the ROOTWALKER home page click on the button saying "ROOTWALKER Counties" and the map will appear.
