Hi Bobby; I just finished talking to John Foster on the Amateur Radio (ham) And we talked some about the "Bloody 8th". I only heard my parents and others speak of the happenings there. These memories went back to the early 20s. It would be intersting to get some of the history from Lynchburg Court records. It was a rough neighborhood when I was a young teen. I think the acts of violance stemmed from Arguments between people. AS I said before I am not an authority on district. There should be some history somewhere on the "Bloody 8th" JIm
