Cousins: I have had several computer problems recently and that is the reason you have not heard from me. It was good to see each of you in Lynchburg. I enjoyed our speakers and it was especially nice to have Cheryl Henderson to speak to us about Tennessee's First Families. It is especially good to see a name that you connect to [through my wife's family] among these families. I was also focused in on Peter Looney, then I realized that it was Peter Looney from Sumner County. I do believe though that our Peter Luna was in Sumner County before moving to the Cane Creek area. I appreciate Julia being willing to work on the newsletter. We have so many cousins that are not online and they desire some type of newsletter and this is understandable. This is very much needed. I believe that Betty Flo has also suggested that she would help Julia. Polly has sent me the financial report. I am having difficulty getting it open. I hope to have it open before the day is out and then I will discuss with Sherry how we should present it. Mr. Jack Towry and I intend on getting together to pursue some work on the cemetery project. I liked the idea of having tables set up for display. I agree that maybe we need to streamline the business session, maybe with the officers coming in and meeting earlier and having all our "ducks in a row". After Polly's sister became ill, she ask me and Mr. Bradley to look around the Lewisburg area for the 2005 meeting. I have made some calls to the local motels in the area. There is a good possibility that "The Walking Horse Inn" would be available to us. They do have a conference room and their room rates are reasonable. Hopefully I can get down there within the next week or so and do some hands on scouting. I have had discussion with Donna about this and I will get back with her after the trip down there. Due to some other pressing things that have been thrown on me it will have to come at a time that I can work out. I appreciate all of your involvement and I hope we can get this list active. I belong to several list and I see many of you on those list. It was suggested that maybe you could Cc. your post to this list.
