Thank you Bobby for mentioning the recipes. Along in that vain I would like to let all know that could not attend the meetings in Lynchburg that we are going to try and get a newsletter out in September to all members. Those that are not on line we will mail the newsletter to them. I would like to ask all for help by sending in articles on families past as well as present. We would like to include things like. Recipes as Bobby mentioned. We may get enought that we could put out a book. Do you have a loved one in the armed services? We would all like to know about our men and women in uniform that have a connection to our group. How about the crazy cousin, living or not, that could touch his ear with his tongue or caught the largest fish, even if it is a fish story. How about an embarrassing moment. I will tell one on me if others will send in theirs. We need tips. Now you men what great tips do you have as to fixing, taking care of tools, gardening, the car or anything. We all can learn something new. Ladies we need your tips as well. New as well as the pioneer ones. Are there stories handed down in the family, true, not so true or a little embellish? Tell us about where you live, where you would like to live. I know all would like to know about those in college, or that Suzy earned her Girl Scout badge, Jimmy received his high school letter. Take this opportunity to brag about the family. Who of your ancestors would you most like to spend a day with. For that matter what living person would you like to spend a day with. How is that move coming along or the addition to the house? Last December or was it the December before many of us wrote in their Christmas memories. We need more stories like those. I for one would like to learn more about the other counties. I have learned a lot about Lincoln but how about Marshall, Bedford and Moore counties, all of the little town and burgs. I think you get the picture. We need all of your input in the newsletter. Let us use it to get better aquatinted with one another as well as exchanging information on those that went before us. What do you all think should be included in the newsletter? Let me know as I am working on it now. There was a newsletter program that came with my computer. Have never used it. It is going to take me from now until Sept. to learn what I can do with it. I am a computer "Dummy". If you have something for me to put in the newsletter send it to me personally, not by way of the mailing list. If you do not want to send me an email then send it by snail mail. Get in touch with me and I will send you my home address. Lets make this newsletter informative and fun by all participating in it. Cousin Julia
