Carolyn, You mention Whitaker. Did they come from NC? I have Whitaker back in my line. They were in Surry Co., NC. Nancy Ann Whitaker married James Yorke, bet 1770-1771, same county. There are many Mark Whitakers, and then the name was carried on into the York family. Dortha McElroy Greenlee
