In the "LCT Pioneers" Vol. 2, #1 page 12 is the following from the minutes dated "Third Saturday in June 1825" for the BALL FORK BAPTIST CHURCH OF CHRIST. ...reception of member received Sister REBECKA GORDON by letter from South Carolina Pendleton Dis SITVAM CHURCH ..... Jane Waller questioned the spelling of the name of the Church. I believe it should have been SALUDA. I have done a googles search and found the Saluda Baptist Association in SC. They were not able to help me but gave me a phone # to call. However when I went to GENFORM for the state of SC I found this post dated Dec 23, 1998 "All of the records for Baptist Churches within the Saluda Baptist Association are held at Furman University in Greenville, SC." "You must call for an appointment: Call Furnam University Library." So the membership list plus minutes for the Church our Armstrong's, Fosters and others belonged to may be at the Furnam University.
