Can someone who has the 1850 census CD for TN check and see if they can find a Pleasant A. Dean b. July 1840 in TN according to his 1900 Census entry. He is in Bedford Co. TN in 1860 and was there til his death in 1913. Thanks --Marie Beckman

Sorry, I don't find him anywhere..Do you know what the middle initial stands for??? I don't know what his middle initial stood for Several Ancestral Files at LDS's Familysearch site which were submitted by individuals claim that Pleasant's middle name was Anderson and that Abijah Dean of Monroe Co. TN was his father. I do not see enough evidence to conclude this--esp. since the Anderson that is living with Abijah Dean in the 1850 Census is still living with Abijah in 1860 Monroe Co. TN a yr where Pleasant A. Dean is enumerated in the Bedford Co. TN Census. In later census records he was listed as P. A.
