Hello List! In response to census re: William Davis - Lawrence county - In 1870, William D. Davis should have been a widower. He was 46 years old then, born in NC. His 2 sons were approx 13 and 14. I believe his wife (Tennessee Mary) died about 1866. Thank you for your time and effort. Bonnie
