Don't know if anybody gave you this one: 1870 Lawrence Co, TN, dist 6 Susan Wall 35 TN Francis M. Wall 16 TN They are living near the same people as in 1880 - i.e. a couple of Wisdom families. They appear to be listed as black although it could be that the censustaker just got carried away with his ditto marks. I don't find Francis in 1880, 1900 or 1910. The most likely middle name would be Marion and I searched for that too. There is a Frank Wall in Illinois about the right age and born TN. Do you have any information on how long Francis might have lived?
