    1. [TN-CENSUS-LOOKUP] 1870 - Unknown County BOLES -(alt sp. Bolles, Bowles, Bolls)
    2. 1870 Federal Census Tennessee: I'm looking for three or possibly four young Boles together in 1870. If not in the same household, they should be in close proximity. Unfortunately, I'm not sure of the parents names but they may have been orphaned (at least lost their father) by 1870 anyway. It should also be upper-middle TN. I know that one of them, Mary Etta, married a John Warren from Overton County about 1872/3. These three siblings (are together in Jefferson Co. IL showing TN birth and TN parents. They were not in IL in 1870 and all evidence is that they were in TN until at least 1875... they must be somewhere. BOLES: John BOLES - he should be approximately 16. Mary Etta BOLES - (Or any variation, thereof.) She should be about 14 Orlando BOLES - He would be about 7. See the note about the first name below. Also.... Walker BOLES - He would be about 10. I'm not certain he's a sibling but it appears so. (In 1880, he is living with a McDonald family in Clay County.) The catch with Orlando is that he had at least 3 given names and may have used a variation of Orlando, Lando or any of the various initials he uses later in life. In later years, I've found him showing as: "J", J.L., J.O., J.L.O. , J.O.L and as just O and just L. Figures, for a man called only "Sun" in his adult life. If found, I need to know the information about the household(s) in which they're living. Thanks very much in advance. Pam
