Looking for the family of DR. JOHN LAWSON "LOSS" MADDOX <MATTOX> (est.1824 TN) / ELIZABETH (1811 NC) in the 1850 LCT census. This census period is very important to me because this family became the guardians of other BRYAN<T> children. Children: Susan Lawson Maddox <Mattox> (est 1844 TN) perhaps others: Guardians of: (births est.) Thomas J. Bryan<t> 1838 Nancy Bryan<t> 1840 Henry C. Bryan<t> 1842 J.K. Polk Bryan<t> 1845 Any help in establishing the makeup of this family during the 1850 LCT census will be greatly appreciated. Pat
