Dottie, I've had no luck in finding her but am wondering about her birthdate. I think at one time you said 1866 and another time 1862. Several of the later census records would say about 1862 as well. The online death index says she was age 58 in 1917 when she died. That would make her birthyear 1859. Is that what the death certificate really says? I was originally told 1862, but her death certificate and her tombstone read 1866. The death certificate says she was 51. I have a marriage date from Lawrence County Archives. She married James Harvey Waters on 18 June 1878. Her children are: James Madison, John T., Mollie, Sarah E. and Mary E.
