The obvious choice for Thomas's parents are Henry and Polly Womack. You can find them in the 1880 free index in Davidson Co, TN. I can't be absolutely positive that they are the correct ones as there are a lot of Womack's in Warren county and that's where the Denton's are from. But they seem to be the only ones with a Thomas the correct age and they are in Davidson where Thomas and Tabitha are in 1900. The Davidson county archives doesn't list a marriage for Thomas and Tabitha. I don't know if that marriage is just not recorded or whether it occurred somewhere else like in Warren Co. Also go to rootsweb and search the family trees for James Denton and wife Octavia. Look at the last tree listed as it shows that Tabitha married Thomas Jefferson Womack. Tabitha had a sister Francis Isabell who married John Watson Womack.
