Thanks Dorothy, This Francis Marion Cowan is too young. The one I need was born around 1820 and had my grandfather William Andrew Cowan in 1853. They later moved to Georgia where Francis was a lawyer in Cobb county and represented Milton county in the senate. I have searched for years for a census record showing them together.
