    3. Having problem with Wm. C Wainscott 2 wives. One shows he married Martha Wimberly 2/17/1843 and Sarah Hamlin before 1857. The other shows he married Martha Wimberly 2/17/1843 and Sarah Hamlin 1845. One wife had six children and the other 1. But which is which? If he married Sarah in 1845 then Martha could have had only one child. Any help appricated. E J

    3. It appears he married Sarah before the 1850 census. I did not find their marriage, but William Wainscott married Martha Wimberley 27 Feb 1843 in Henry Co., TN. The only William Wainscott I found on the 1850 census is; 1850 Simpson Co., KY p. 45: Wm Wainscott 27 M/Farmer/KY/cannot read or write. S. Wainscott 21 F/TN R. A. Wainscott 6 F/TN N.
