Dorothy, Would you mind looking in your book for a Francis Marion or F.M. born around 1820 using these spellings for Cowan/Cowen? COHEN, COHAN, COHIN, KOHEN, COEN, KOEN, COIN, CONE I and lots of volunteers have looked for him in 1860 TN and GA but without any luck. We believe it was because of name spelling. I believe he had two wives Mary Moreland then Ann Latimer. Had two sons with Mary, William b 1853 and James b abt 1857. I sure would appreciate it. Thanks bunches, Linda
