Linda, The only list of that period which is online that I know of is actually a 1891 voters list. There are no Dye's on it for Rhea county. The Rhea county genealogy site has a few early 1800's tax lists. The Tennessee Archives has on file (not online) a lot of Rhea county tax lists but the one for 1881 is not included in what they have. They do have a book which is described as having Rhea county tax lists covering the period 1860sh through the early 1900's.
