There was another James Watson married in Davidson. He married Mary Making Payzer on 4/13/1820. There are only two James Watsons listed in Davidson Co in 1830. The James R. I already told you about and the other who has 3 children - 1 female 5 to 10, 1 female less than 5 and 1 male less than 5. In 1840 James R is the only one of the two listed in Davidson. There is a Jones Watson in neighboring Rutherford Co but he and his wife are not old enough to be the ones married in 1825 and they only have one child.
