I just found one more thing about Abner Jr. He was still alive in 1968. On 8/3/1968 he married Betty Jo Hornsby in San Patricio county, Texas which borders Nueces Co(Corpus Christi). BUT he had divorced her 3 months earlier (5/22/1968) in the same county. This guy just couldn't make up his mind.
