It could be that he wasn't born in Tennessee. Also he may not have been married by 1930. I assume that the Tennessee Parthina you asked about was his wife. Do you know her maiden name? If not, then the cheapest way to find him would be to get his death certificate. I don't know what they're currently charging but it should be less than $10. It should show where he was born and who his parents were.
