Is there a Census record for the year 1840 Grainger and Union Co, TN? If there is I would like to try to find my G.G,Grandmother before she was married. Her name was Elizabeth Jane Carter, b abt 3-1848 In probably Union or Grainger Co. She married John Hammock On July 23, 1869, in Union Co, TN. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Connie
